GQ India approached us to do caricatures that would profile key players of the Euro Cup 2016, T20 World Cup 2016 and IPL 2017. The T20 illustrations looked at the background and controversies surrounding the players, lending themselves to a humorous approach. The illustrations for the Euro Cup looked at the players themselves and their role within the game. The IPL 2017 set of illustrations focussed on the cricketing abilities of the chosen players. We used brush pens to ink the artworks and coloured them in digitally. The IPL 2017 illustrations were created on Procreate. Since we follow both the sports closely, we were rather thrilled to have worked on these!
